Computer
Aided Orthopaedic Surgery |

Many
orthopaedic surgeons now use new computer technology
to improve their accuracy in implanting a knee or hip
replacement. Some recent studies have suggested that
computer aided orthopaedic surgery could potentially
improve the long-term results of a total knee replacement.
These computer systems are very expensive and are not
available in all orthopaedic departments.
